Two South Jersey Title Companies
Unite
Surety Title Corporation and Southern Counties Join Forces Marlton, NJ
- Surety Title Corporation and Southern Counties Title Agency are
formally joining to create one company, according to Brian Klaus,
President of Surety Title. The partnership became official on December
3, 2007.
"We realized an opportunity in each other's business practices and
respective markets. We made the decision that unifying our entities
would enable us to expand our resources, talents and growth
possibilities," said Klaus.
Former Merchantville Mayor Patrick Brennan established Southern
Counties Title Agency in 1979, building a firm that now has a strong
presence in the Gloucester County area-one in which Surety would like
to boost its presence. Established in 1992, Surety currently serves 42
U.S. states, and continues to expand into others.
"Both of our companies share one philosophy," explained Brennan, "and
that is uncompromising service to our clients and the industry
professionals we serve which includes: attorneys, banks, lenders,
Realtors , brokers and builders. Additionally, we both have
capabilities in the commercial arena that require specialized expertise
that many other title companies just don't have."
What sets Surety apart from the majority of title agencies, and what
Southern Counties also found compelling, is Surety's commitment to
education.
"We pride ourselves on the synergistic relationship we've built with
our industry professionals by keeping them abreast of breaking industry
news," added Klaus. "We also act as marketing consultants for our
Realtors to help them position themselves more successfully in the
marketplace."
Also appealing to Southern Counties is Surety's resources, which
include a 28,000 square foot facility equipped with communication and
technological capabilities including high-speed Internet access for
clients, and high-definition plasma screens for presentations. The
building serves as a state-of-the-art meeting facility and a
media-training center with 10 settlement rooms to maintain client
comfort.
"Buying and selling real estate can be one of the single most important
decisions in a person's life," said Klaus, which explains Surety's
motivation to create an environment that cultivates relaxation and
calm.
The new company will maintain the Surety name.

Surety Title Corporation and
Lender Services have moved their offices from Three Greentree Centre to
3 East Stow Road. Surety's new building was completely gutted and
totally restored. Our primary goal was to develop a facility to service
customers in a much broader and technologically advanced "Settlement
Service Center." It was important for us to design a floor plan to
accommodate the month end closing volume and not sacrifice any
functional contact between our customers and our staff.
The new 28,000 square foot office
is an ultra modern facility complete with ten settlement rooms,
enhanced communication and data capabilities. We have high speed
Internet access for our customers and a state of the art voice over IP
(VOIP) phone system. The implementation of this new phone system
provides our staff with features such as direct dial and connectivity
that quickly facilitates customer calls and consumer inquiries.
Our showcase Metropolitan Room
serves as both a settlement room and media training room. This room is
complete with two 50" plasma televisions, high speed Internet access, a
projector and an 8 ' x 8 ' screen, as well as a conference phone that
enables us to communicate via the Internet. Many of our customers have
utilized this room for presentations, seminars and meetings and the
feedback has been tremendous!
The building is beautifully
decorated, and creates a warm, comfortable atmosphere for people
selling, buying or refinancing their property. Because buying and
selling real estate can be one of the single most important decisions
of a person's life, we have worked extremely hard to create a relaxing
environment that puts your consumer at ease.
"We had completely outgrown our
previous office that we were leasing," said David Rush, President of
Surety Title Corporation. "In the six years we were at our Three
Greentree Centre location, our personnel count almost tripled as a
result of increased growth. Our new office not only gives us room for
future expansion, but will allow us to adequately meet the needs of our
customers, remote locations and the integration of the Internet through
e-business. Our new, larger facility is a key part of our plan to allow
us to meet this growing demand while simultaneously expanding the
company's present scope and opening up new markets. In addition, we
have 25,000 square feet of office space on the second floor of our
building that is being utilized for third party tenants."
